Where is Teddy now? Poor Teddy.
In the high chair is my brother Anthony. I look about four so Anthony must be two. Just a guess.
18 Barrow Bridge Road today
We don't live there now but the ground floor front room of the cream house (behind the traffic cones) is where Teddy's little birthday party was held 72 years ago, even before the film 'Oklahoma' was released and Elizabeth was crowned Queen of England. This road is where, the year after the party, my mother brought us out to celebrate with the neighbours, some of whom were Gandalf's Mum and Dad. Today is 14th March, 2024. The bus stops are the same place as ever.
